I had taken these Spring Semester of 2019 I was auditing a class Professional Format for the camera. This course was taught by my advisor who was retiring after 40 years as a professor. He felt that I was treated like a number and he said this is the biggest liberal college in the country if not New Jersey. He couldn't believe how I was treated. He did not want me to drop out which I was headed that way after being harassed again I dropped the semester and I had to focus on my son. I dropped the semester after I met with the abuser on campus after I took photos of the day the Tappan Zee Bridge was demolished. It was way too much nobody deserves that type of behavior directed at them. Anyhow, in the course that I audited we had used these old wooden fold out camera boxes. This was really an unique course to gain experience with various photography techniques. I loved going back to Bay Ridge Brooklyn and shooting with 120MM 400TMax Film. I want to update my home gallery with 4 new images from this course. I was proud of this work and printed my first 11X17 prints for my portfolio.
I barely was able to do this course under the crushing overwhelmingly feelings of being around crimes and criminals on campus and off campus. I will be honest and say that I ended up blocking numerous professors who were linked to my harasser abuser on campus who targeted me out of nowhere. I didn't take her course and she didn't even know me it was so stressful I made several police reports. I published a book about it and another one when another adjunct art therapy instructor refused to let me do my presentation December 18, 2020. That literally crushed my soul and broke my heart. After everything this is how it ended I didn't even go to graduation as the police told me it was too dangerous! Looking back at the 2010-2020 timeline of when I went back to college I faced a lot of adversity. With that being said there is so much good and I learned about character. Take everything away from a person and see how they behave that's the true test of integrity. Those with little power are the one's that attempted to make life worse for those in need will not be very successful in life. My neighbor use to refer to corrupt people as crooked as the day is dawn. I want to help other adults returning to college not to drop out I gained three degrees against all odds. I was asked to be a mentor for returning adult students at my other alumni college. I always made the Dean's list and really excelled with all my courses academically.
