Sunsets- Why do we chase them?

I absolutely love the sunsets of the sky which give pause to the end of the day. A reflection of beauty untold and everyday you will always see a new sky. When I first moved to Suffern from the city from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn I wanted to find the best location to watch the sunsets. I often would explore places but could never find that picture perfect view that I craved. I ran down alleyways, drove up mountains, and never stopped searching. I tried to find the best location and I could never find it. Well, I left for a few years and came back to Suffern and that last photo was my new sunset view my first night here. It couldn't have been more perfect for me. To search endlessly for years in a community that I am not native to that I now consider home and to find this view is a miracle. No amount of money can ever replace that feeling that emotion that feeling of finding your home again. The first photo was taken December 16, 2021 at the Palisades Center I pulled the car over for this one. The second photo was taken 11/11/18 in Palm Tree which I found in my memories with this quote, "To most people the sky is the limit. To those who love aviation, the sky is home." Anon The third photo was taken June 7, 2019 in Suffern I captured an entire series and still haven't titled them.
